>>_A TWO-FER IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY

Thursday: On the air at KDVS (UC Davis radio) from 12pm - 2:30pm.
Friday: Smile 5. One big, happy party--also in the Sac area.

>>_FROM DAVE STEINWEDEL - HOST OF ECLECTIC & ELECTRIC ON KDVS

Hey there kiddies. This Thursday marks my move to daytime broadcast
hours (no more all nighters! woohoo)! And to celebrate the move, I'm
bringing in a very special guest for a two and a half hour set.

Amber will be gracing the KDVS decks with her special
blend of, um, well hell i dunno, could be anything from ambinet to
jungle to acid trance, the girl can do it all. For those of you in Sac,
you will remember her from just over a month ago @ Submerge, when
she played a bangin' vs. set w/Dragn'fly (and incidentally, they tore
the house down). She will also be appearing at Smile 5 this friday.

So spend your thursday afternoon rockin out to some tunes (who needs
work anyways)? KDVS, 90.3 FM in the Sacramento area, or on the web at
www.kdvs.org

We'll be having prize giveaways all day long too! =)

- Dave

"Although you may not feel like celebration is appropriate at this time, promoting events, playing at events, and experiencing the communal feeling of dance music culture will be crucial in the coming months. Going out will not only help ease pressure and tension, but hopefully be a key to creating dialogue about this situation."

"I urge you not to forget that dancing is a political act, and hope that in the coming months the dance community and electronic music listeners in general can be a crucial force for changing the outcome of this situation into something positive, not negative."
